COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — A Bonners Ferry man was arrested for shooting in the direction of his ex-wife on Tuesday afternoon.
Coeur d’Alene Police said the shooting happened around 2 p.m. near the intersection of South 20th Street and South 3rd Street.
37-year-old Christopher J. Bustillos from Bonners Ferry drove to Coeur d’Alene to drop off his ex-wife at her sister’s home.
When the woman got out of the SUV, police say Bustillos fired a handgun in her direction before leaving the area.
The woman was not struck. No other injuries were reported.
Boundary County deputies later tracked down Bustillos and took him into custody.
The investigation remains ongoing.
