SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash – Anyone looking for plans this weekend will find plenty to do at Valleyfest.
The community event has been going on so long, it predates the city of Spokane Valley.
The weekend-long event brings together community members of all ages at Mirabeau Point Park, Plantes Ferry Sports Complex and CenterPlace Regional Event Center.
Things kick off with a parade Friday night at 7:30 along Sprague Avenue, which features local restaurants along the route.
Saturday begins with the River Run at 8 am followed by a day full of events that include fishing, culturefest, a movie night and more.
Sunday events include a car show, a Pawfest events for pets and Totfest with activities for kids.
