SPOKANE VALLEY — Parents know the drill: buy new clothes for your child, and within months, those outfits no longer fit. Just Between Friends is offering a solution this weekend with its fall consignment sale, where families can find gently used clothing, toys, and equipment at a fraction of retail prices.
The event runs Friday through Sunday at the Spokane Fair and Expo Center, occupying 53,000 square feet across three bays. Admission is $5 Friday through Saturday, though children 12 and under enter free. Everyone gets in for free on Sunday when the store offers half-price deals on remaining inventory.
“It is just a perfect way to keep things right here in the community,” said Tyona Albrecht, owner of Just Between Friends in Spokane. “Kids outgrow their things so fast and it is just an easy way to save money and for our sellers to earn money.”
The sale features clothing for mothers in maternity sizes, newborns, and children up to age 16. Shoppers will also find toys, shoes, books, winter coats, boots, baby equipment, and nursery items. Prices vary since individual consigners set their own rates.
Organizers recommend arriving early for the best selection. Friday hours run 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a doorbuster special from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. offering admission for $10 cash. Saturday operates 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the half-price promotion.
