GRANT COUNTY, — Grant County sheriff’s deputies arrested an Ephrata man Wednesday.
Cody Miller, 34, was booked into the Grant County Jail on allegations of felony eluding, second-degree burglary and resisting arrest, as well as on misdemeanor warrants.
Quincy police tried to stop Miller’s vehicle Wednesday morning, but authorities said he fled and drove into Grant County.
At about 10 a.m., a property owner reported seeing Miller’s vehicle in the 16000 block of Road 7.6-Northwest. The owner told authorities Miller appeared to be trying to conceal the vehicle from view. Deputies and Quincy police responded, but the vehicle was gone when they arrived.
A deputy spotted a pickup matching the description of Miller’s truck about 11:10 a.m. near the 15000 block of Road 8-Northwest.
Deputies surrounded the property with assistance from Quincy police and a Moses Lake Police Department K-9 unit. Miller later surrendered.
