ADAMS COUNTY, Wash. — (Updated at 12 p.m.) Four wildfires burning across Southeast Washington remain completely uncontained as of Friday morning, with combined acreage exceeding 37,000 acres, according to the Southeast Washington Interagency Management Team.
The Lyons Ferry Fire Complex includes:
Lyons Ferry Fire — 34,787 acresNeff Jones Fire — 7,123 acresDevil’s Canyon Fire — 4,747 acresWallace Walker Fire — 798 acres

• Lyons Ferry: 5%
• Devil’s Canyon: 50%
• Wallace Walker: 50%
• Neff Jones: 50%
The four fires that make up the Lyons Ferry Complex have now burned an estimated 47,455 acres which is about 74 square miles.
The Lyons Ferry Fire, the largest of the four, has burned more than 30,000 acres across Franklin, Adams, and Whitman counties and remains the focus of firefighting efforts.

Temporary Evacuation Points
A shelter has been closed at LaCrosse School District, 111 Hill Ave., LaCrosse, Washington.
Road Closures
Highway 261 is completely closed from Highway 260 to Lyons Ferry State ParkHighway 26 remains under controlled closure.Lyons Ferry State Park, Palouse Falls State Park, and Columbia Plateau Trail State Park are closed.
Firefighting Response
Ground crews, aircraft, dozers and strike teams are actively battling the fire. A Temporary Flight Restriction is in place over the fire area. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office urged the public not to fly drones or other aircraft near the fires, as they interfere with aerial firefighting operations.
