SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Sports has canceled Sunday’s World Cup Final watch party at Gesa Pavilion due to the current unhealthy air quality.
Spokane Sports says that Guests who purchased VIP tickets for the watch party will receive a full refund.
They wrote in a statement:
“While this is a disappointing decision, it is the right one to help protect fans, volunteers, staff, and partners from exposure to unhealthy air.
“We were looking forward to bringing the community together one final time to celebrate the Summer of Soccer. However, the health and safety of our community will always come first. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and hope to see you at future Spokane Sports events.”
