COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho– A 36-year-old Spokane man has died after drowning at City Beach according to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department.
Coeur d’Alene Police Detectives are currently investigating a drowning of at City Beach that occurred at about 1:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found that the male had already been removed from the water and that a citizen was performing CPR.
Officers immediately took over life-saving measures until emergency medical personnel arrived on scene.
Medical personnel continued resuscitation efforts for approximately 30 minutes. Despite those efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene according to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department.
