Grant County officials confirm no active shooter near the Modrite Fire

GRANT COUNTY, Wash– There is no active shooter near the Modrite Fire according to the Grant County fire officials.

There was a hunter shooting at a bear, not at firefighters according to the Colville Tribal Broadcasts, News and Information.

Tribal Law enforcement has addressed the situation. All fire personnel are accounted for, and fire suppression efforts have resumed.
