SPOKANE, Wash. — As wildfire victims begin filing insurance claims, Washington Insurance Commissioner Patty Kuderer urged residents to act quickly, stay in contact with their insurers and understand their rights throughout the recovery process.
The Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner is advising residents on the insurance claims process, what to expect during recovery and where to turn for help if they encounter problems with their insurer. Residents with insurance questions or complaints can contact the office at 1-800-562-6900.
