City postpones wildfire information and insurance session that was planned for Wednesday

SPOKANE, Wash – The City of Spokane has postponed an informational session for insurance questions planned for Wednesday for wildfire victims.

The Washington Insurance Commissioner, the mayor and several lawmakers planned the session to give people information about how to navigate the insurance and recovery process.

Wednesday morning, the city said the session is postponed and will be rescheduled after a resource center is fully staffed and operational.

The city said the request to reschedule was made by the people coordinating the emergency response.
