Evacuations downgraded for wildfire near North Sparrow Lane and Long Lake Road

SPOKANE COUNTY — Evacuation orders have been downgraded for a wildfire near North Sparrow Lane and Long Lake Road.

According to Spokane Fire District 9, residents living near Sparrow west of Carstens, east of Wood Road, south of Prewett Road, and north of the Spokane River, are now at Level 1 (Get Ready) status.
