AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — UPDATE, 5:30 p.m. All evacuations have been lifted for a wildfire burning west of Fairchild Air Force Base.
UPDATE, 1:27 p.m. Some evacuations have been downgraded from Level 3 (GO NOW!) to Level 1 (Get Ready) for a wildfire burning west of Fairchild Air Force Base.
According to Fire District 10, people living north to Highway 2, south to Bannock, east to Brooks and west to Jay are now under Level 1 evacuations.
All other Level 3 (GO NOW!) evacuations remain in place.
Fire District 10 says three structures have minimal damage from the fire. The fire is out, but evacuations won’t be lifted until the fire area is fully lined.

People living north to Highway 2, south to McFarlane, east to Brooks Road and west to Jay Street need to leave immediately due to life-threatening conditions.
Spokane County Fire District 10 says multiple agencies are helping respond to this fire, which was called in around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
