STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — Bradeen Fire which is estimated around 500 acres is forcing evacuations according to the Stevens County Emergency Management.
Washington State Patrol Chief John Batiste authorized the mobilization of state firefighting resources on July 25, 2026, at 5:45 p.m. at the request of Fire Chief Tim Barrett, Stevens County Fire District 12.
Level 3 (Go Now) evacuations:
Grifford areathe area of the thirty one hundred block of Bradeen Road
Road Closures:
Addy-Gifford road is closed.
A Red Cross shelter is being set up at Jenkins High School. Small animals are allowed and kennels are available. All pets must be watched by their owner.
Large animals can be taken to the Arden Rodeo grounds but must be owner cared for.
