OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — The Kaiser Canyon Fire has scorched more than 110,000 acres across the Colville Reservation’s Nespelem area since July 16 according to the Colville agency.
The fire is 13% contained according to the National Interagency Fire Center.
Fire activity has increased across multiple areas, limiting firefighters’ ability to safely access some locations.
Level 3 Evacuations (GO NOW):

Level one Evacuation (GET READY):
Colville Reservation in Okanogan County from the intersection of the Okanogan/Ferry County line and Gold Lake Road, North following Gold Lake Road, to Highway 21, South on Highway 21 to South Nanamkin Creek Road, West to the intersection of Central Peak Road, and North on the county line to Gold Lake Road.
State Route 155 from Park City Loop Road to Haley Creek Road, Columbia River Road, and Cache Creek Road remain closed.
Smoke is creating poor air quality, particularly at night.
N95 masks are available at the Omak library.
Residents should limit outdoor activity and stay indoors if they have breathing problems.
