According to the Northern Rockies incident management team, the Turner Fire is currently 47% contained and mapped out at 681 acres.
More accurate fire mapping was done on Saturday, which resulted in a change to the fire’s acreage. Incident management says a control line now surrounds the fire’s entire perimeter.
Smoke is still visible from the fire.
Crews will continue to secure fire lines on Sunday, and mop up areas where the residual heat remails.
