LAS VEGAS – Former Gonzaga standout Graham Ike has his first professional championship.
Ike helped the Golden State Warriors defeat the Memphis Grizzlies 94-90 on Sunday night to capture the NBA Summer League title in Las Vegas. While he wasn’t asked to carry the scoring load, the undrafted rookie made his impact across the floor, finishing with six points, nine rebounds, three assists and a block in 24 minutes. He also posted a team-best plus-12 rating.
The championship wraps up a strong summer for Ike, who signed an Exhibit 10 contract with Golden State after going undrafted. Throughout Summer League, he consistently provided energy on both ends of the floor, averaging more than nine points and seven rebounds per game while showing he can contribute in multiple ways.
His performance over the past few weeks has only strengthened his case to earn a two-way contract or compete for a roster spot as the Warriors prepare for training camp.
