SEATTLE – Seattle Seahawks star wide receiver and reigning Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been nominated for the 2026 ESPY Awards. The Seahawks also earned a nomination for Best Team, joining finalists that include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Indiana Football and the New York Knicks.
Smith-Njigba is up for Best NFL Player alongside Myles Garrett, Drake Maye and Matthew Stafford. Former Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander is the franchise’s only previous winner of the award, taking home the honor following his historic 2005 season.
