SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department is asking for help finding the vehicle involved in a deadly hit and run that happened on Saturday.
According to police, a Toyota Highlander hit a pedestrian on North Newport Highway at about 4:15 a.m. on Saturday.
The victim was down in the roadway and the car drove away from the area heading south.
The person hit by the car died at the scene.
