SEATTLE, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks added wide receiver and special teams standout Irvin Charles in a trade with the New York Jets.
Charles, a 2022 Penn State graduate, spent his first two seasons in New York before an ACL tear ended his 2024 season early and kept him entirely out of 2025.
The speedy and skilled tackler does well as a gunner, who is the special teams player who leads the tackling against the returner. Charles finished his Jets tenure with 14 tackles and a punt block.
The Jets gave the Seahawks a 2028 seventh-round pick in exchange for Charles.
