SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with the Behind the Badge Foundation and Canopy Credit Union to open a memorial fund for Sergeant Kenneth Salas.
Salas was killed while helping remove a hay bale from I-90 near the Four Lakes exit on Saturday.
The Sheriff’s Office says the donations to this memorial fund will go directly to memorial service expenses. Any remaining funds will go directly to Sgt. Salas’ family.
If you wish to donate, you can stop by any Canopy Credit Union Branch and request to donate to the S.C.O.P.E./Sgt. Salas Memorial Fund.
Donations can also be made by scanning the QR code attached to this article or sending the funds to @SPOKANESCOPE on Venmo.
