SPOKANE, Wash – It’s Election Day in Washington and measures on the ballot could impact your bank account and public safety in the coming years.
Measures on the ballot in Spokane include an aquifer protection vote, which would add a monthly fee for households in Spokane County. Another measure would add a public safety sales and use tax in Spokane Valley.
There are also primary elections for some city and school board positions and fire protection votes in Spokane County Fire District 8 and Spokane County Fire District 9.

Voters still mailing in ballots can do so Tuesday. Ballots postmarked with Tuesday’s date will be counted.
You can also drop off ballots at these drop box locations throughout the county.
