SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Public Schools said it made significant progress over the weekend in restoring systems affected by a network security incident last week.
According to the district, attendance and grading systems are now back online for staff. The Parent and Student Portals are expected to be accessible beginning Wednesday.
The district says this extra time will allow staff to update information from the period when systems were down.
The third-party investigation into the security breach is still ongoing.
“We are committed to communicating directly as soon as possible with anyone the investigation determined has been impacted and providing them with next steps,” SPS said.
