CHENEY, Wash – Cheney voters are so far passing two levies on this year’s ballot.
Cheney Public Schools asked voters to approve a replacement educational programs and operation levy and a replacement capital technology levy.
CHENEY SCHOOL DISTRICT PROPOSITION NO. 1 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND OPERATION LEVY
The education programs and operations levy funds things like special education, safety and security, athletics and activities and more.
The capital levy continues funding for technology upgrades, facility infrastructure and furniture and equipment.
CHENEY SCHOOL DISTRICT PROPOSITION NO. 2 CAPITAL LEVY FOR TECH, SECURITY AND INFRASTRUCTURE
The levies replace two levies expiring next year.
