SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash –
UPDATE at 10:30 a.m. – SWAT officers arrested a man and cleared the scene.
Spokane Valley SWAT officers had a portion of a Spokane Valley neighborhood blocked off Wednesday morning to deal with a wanted man they said was “in crisis.”
A small portion of North Herald was blocked off, just off Broadway.
A department spokesman tells 4 News Now the man has a history of making threats to law enforcement.
Previous news coverage shows a man in that area arrested for firing shots in the air in August. Law enforcement has not confirmed if it’s the same person.
We have a news crew on the scene and will update with more information as we get it.
