Spokane County Sheriff’s Office urges public to avoid the area near the fairgrounds for fire command

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to avoid the area around the Spokane County Interstate Fairgrounds at certain times of the day.

They are asking the public to avoid the area of E. Broadway between N. Havana Street and N. Fancher Road and N. Havana Street between E. Sprague Avenue and E. Trent Avenue between 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. & 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

This is to alleviate traffic congestion as Firefighters and other Spokane Complex Fire Resources travel to and from the Incident Command Post.

In addition, temporary road closures may occur in these areas as needed.
