SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Chiefs forward Gavin Burcar will represent the United States on the international stage after being named to the 2026 U.S. Under-18 Men’s Select Team.
The 23-player roster was announced by USA Hockey ahead of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, which will be held Aug. 3-8 in Edmonton, Alberta. Team USA is looking to defend its tournament title after winning the championship in 2025.
Burcar, a native of Coto de Caza, California, appeared in 63 games during his rookie season with the Chiefs, totaling seven goals and 17 points. He is committed to play collegiately at Michigan State once his junior career comes to an end.
