SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash– Avista cancels Public Safety Power Shutoff warning for Indian Trail.
They sent out a statement that says due to a change in weather that causes a decrease in high-risk-fire conditions in northwest Spokane’s Indian Trail area, customers are no longer at risk of a Public Safety Power Shutoff.
Avista is considering a potential Public Safety Power Shutoff for the Kamiah area and the Asotin area. Avista says that “customers in potentially affected areas are receiving direct communication from Avista and should continue preparing for the possibility of an outage later today.”
