UPDATE 7:45 a.m.: The Moses Lake School District is cancelling classes and district programs for the day.
The district says downed power lines are creating safety concerns and ongoing power outages are forcing the closures.
MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Schools in the Moses Lake School District will be delayed two hours this morning while the district assesses the damage from last night’s storms.
The district says buses will run two hours later and schools will start two hours later as well.
MLSD says it’s continuing to evaluate the situation, and more delays and cancellations are possible.
