Cheney, WASH– Cheney Public school just announced the new name of the Elementary School in a statement on Facebook.
The statement reads:
AND THE NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NAME IS: Skyway Elementary!
Following months of community engagement—including a districtwide survey, input from students and stakeholders, and recommendations from the New Elementary School Naming Team—the School Board of Directors unanimously approved Skyway Elementary as the name of our district’s newest elementary school.
