SPOKANE, Wash. — A man was killed Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Hangman Valley Road, about 16 miles south of Spokane, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the driver left the roadway and crashed into a tree and continued, crashing into a second tree before coming to a rest. The victim was the vehicle’s sole occupant.
Investigators said speed was a factor in the crash.
The victim’s name has yet to be released.
