SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — The Washington Department of Natural Resources has put in place a burn ban for the Spokane Area.
This burn ban started on May 29 and applies to all recreational and rural burns. This means no more backyard brush piles or evening fire pits.
Spokane County Fire District 4 says the only outdoor burning allowed currently is in designated campground fire pits or if you get a special permit.
