SPOKANE, Wash – It’s not your typical all-points bulletin: the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a dinosaur statue, stolen from a northside roundabout.
The decorative metal statue was on display near the Costco at N. Dupont Road and N. Mellon Parkway.
Someone reported it missing on March 8.
Investigators determined it was taken that morning between 1 and 5 a.m.
The sheriff’s office says the value of the statue and associated repair costs are around $70,000.
Anyone with information about where the statue is or who may have taken it is asked to call SCIU Detective N. Kauffman at 509-477-3224.
