FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots help to continue the strong NFL legacy of EWU wide receivers.
Efton Chism III, a former star Eastern Washington Eagle wideout, now joins New England officially after making the 53-man roster cut today.
His former head coach Aaron Best spoke to us about the big news.
“His journey started a long time ago, this wasn’t five years ago, this was a long time ago, that started, and it starts in the house. Coach once said it best, ‘education starts in the house,'” Best said. “That’s where it all starts. He was taught better than most, and he’s a better learner than most. Exciting day for Eagle nation and Pat nation.”
Chism suits up for the Patriots next Sunday, September 7 at 10:00 a.m. against the Las Vegas Raiders.
