DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wash. — If you’re in Douglas County, don’t forget to mark your calendars for a fun-filled, family-friendly event next month!
On August 1, The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, along with multiple community organizations, will host the 2025 National Night Out at Eastmont Community Park.
NNO is an annual community-building event that brings together neighborhoods and police departments for a positive, family-friendly event.
Attendees will have the chance to meet their local first responders, enjoy free food and fun activities and have the chance to win giveaways!
The event will also feature tours of first responder helicopters and the chance to try a simulation used by officers during training.
Community members can also try their hand at the ‘Dunk a Detective” dunk tank!
The event will take place from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
