COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Coeur d’Alene firefighter Dave Tysdal was all smiles as he was escorted by his family out of Kootenai Health Tuesday morning.
Tysdal is heading to a rehab facility in Colorado as he continues to recover from a gunshot he received while responding to a wildfire last month.
Tysdal and Battalion Chiefs Frank Harwood and John Morrison were shot in an ambush on Canfield Mountain in Coeur d’Alene. Morrison and Harwood were killed.
