OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — Washington State Patrol is investigating what led a woman to drive off a cliff in a fatal crash in Okanogan County.
According to WSP, 62-year-old Tamara Harrang of Blaine was going west on Highway 20 about 2 hours north of Chelan around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
WSP says Harrang drove off the road, 450 feet down a cliff, and the vehicle caught fire.
Harrang died at the scene.
WSP is investigating the cause. It’s unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were involved.
