SPOKANE, Wash. — Children and families of all abilities are invited to come and enjoy free rides and other fun activities at the Looff Carousel this Sunday.
On Sunday, May 18 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., families can head over for free, unlimited rides at the carousel provided by the Rosalie Murrey Memorial Foundation.
There will also be designated low-sensory rides between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. During that time, lights will be dimmed and the number of riders will be limited to provide more space for families who need it.
Along with free rides, you can enjoy complimentary snacks, including allergen-friendly snacks, and bottled water. There will also be other fun activities such as a coloring station and temporary tattoos.
If the fun becomes too much, however, you and your family can take a break in a dedicated sensory regulation space that will have calming tools and support from volunteer pediatric therapists.
Free pre-registration is available for families who want to skip the registration line and access the Carousel quicker. The first 150 pre-registered guests will also get a free event swag bag.
You can pre-register for the event by clicking here.
Event organizers will also provide free parking validation for the River Park Square Parking Garage and bus fare while supplies last.
