SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Two people and a dog were treated for smoke inhalation at a motorhome fire in Spokane Valley Sunday night.
According to the Spokane Valley Fire Department, firefighters responded to the fire on Argonne Road around 9:30 p.m.
SVFD says firefighters extinguished the motorhome and two people were taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire was determined to be a blanket that got too close to a propane space heater inside the home.
SVFD wants to remind people, with colder temperatures, keep all objects at least three feet from heating devices and have working smoke alarms.
