POST FALLS, Wash. — A man was killed in a crash in Post Falls, and Idaho State Police is asking any witnesses to the crash to contact ISP.
According to ISP, a 75-year-old Cocolalla man in a Chevy Silverado ran a red light northbound on Highway 41 at Prairie Avenue Tuesday night around 6:40.
ISP says the truck hit a 56-year-old Coeur d’Alene man driving a Prius going west.
The driver of the Prius was taken to the hospital where he later died. The pickup driver was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
ISP is asking anyone who is in the area between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. or anyone who may have information about the crash to call ISP at 208-209-8620.
