SPOKANE, Wash. — Parking, trash and more! The City of Spokane is letting people know what’s open and what’s closed this Thanksgiving holiday.
TRASH
Trash pickup for people who get their normal trash pickup will take place a day later November 28 and 29. So, if you normally get your trash picked up on Thursday, that will now take place Friday. And if Friday is your usual day, that will happen Saturday the 30th.
PARKING
Parking is free on Thanksgiving Day at on-street meters and kiosks. The city reminds folks parking rules still apply such as time limits.
CITY FACILITIES
All Spokane Public Library locations will be closed Thursday the 28th and Friday the 29th.
The Spokane County Municipal Court and the Community Justice Services will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Spokane 311 will be unavailable Thursday and Friday but Spokane311.org will be available for the public.
Development Services Center employees will also be off Thursday and Friday and the Waste-to-Energy Facility will be closed Thursday but open the rest of the week.
Attractions at Riverfront Park will be closed Thanksgiving Day but open for the rest of the week.
