Showers continue to linger this morning while the chilliest temperatures of this cooldown are yet to come tonight.
Light rain and mountain snow showers continue through Monday morning across southeast Washington and the southern and central Idaho Panhandle. Mountain snow or winter mix is possible this morning around Lookout Pass. Wet weather chances will be largely over by noon.
High temperatures on Monday will reach the mid 50s as the cloudy skies give way to sunshine in the afternoon. A Freeze Watch is in effect in many areas in Central Washington tonight as overnight lows will drop to the upper 20s and low 30s. It will be our first widespread freeze of the season.
Tuesday morning will be our bottoming out for the time being. Temperatures will trend warmer through Friday, with highs reaching the low 70s before we start cooling again this weekend.
