LIBERTY LAKE — The Hub Sports Center is transforming into the mysterious town of Hollow Pines this October with HUB-O-WEEN, a month-long Halloween celebration designed to give families an affordable and fun destination for spooky season activities.
The festivities kick off Friday with a free Family Fun Festival running from 4 to 6 p.m.
The event welcomes visitors to explore haunted woods, step back in time to a high school prom experience, and discover a calendar of Halloween activities throughout the month.
One of the month’s highlights is Boo-ga-Yoga on October 9th, a puppy yoga class in partnership with SpoKanimal. During each session, participants can meet and interact with a litter of puppies available for adoption directly from the event.
“We talked months ago and I was like absolutely we want to do this, we love being a part of the community and participating and bringing puppies,” said Dori Peck, director of SpoKanimal. “I mean that’s a win.”
