A warming trend will bring a more summer-like feel to Wednesday across the Inland Northwest.
High pressure is in control for Wednesday, which will boost afternoon temperatures into the upper 70s and low 80s. Winds will be fairly calm with ample sunshine through the entire day. Patchy fog in northern valleys early on Wednesday morning may drop visibility below a half mile at times.
A weather system arrives Thursday afternoon, bringing wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph. These winds may create blowing dust and reduced visibility in parts of Central and Southeast Washington. Rain is possible in the Panhandle mountains Thursday afternoon and evening, but it will stay dry elsewhere.
Temperatures will then drop nearly ten degrees Friday before rain showers and isolated thunderstorms move across the region Saturday into Sunday.
