Expect a cool and showery Friday and Labor Day Weekend across the Inland Northwest.
Friday brings light to moderate rain this morning across the area. Scattered showers remain a possibility Friday afternoon with highs reaching the upper 60s to low 70s. Isolated thunderstorms are possible over the Cascades and north-central Washington mountains, capable of producing brief heavy rain and lightning.
Tonight will be chilly, with lows on Saturday morning in the mid 30s to mid 40s. Temperatures will rise into the 70s for Saturday and Sunday afternoons, but drop back to the 60s for Monday.
Showery weather continues through the holiday weekend. The highest odds for showers and isolated thunder will be Saturday afternoon and Sunday night through Monday morning. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the cooler weather outdoors on Saturday and Sunday, since rain chances will be only around 20% for most of those days.
