SPOKANE, Wash. — A new wildfire relief donation and distribution center has opened on the top floor of the Northtown Mall parking garage to help fire victims.
Adventist Community Services is partnering with the Spokane County Emergency Management team to operate the center. Some items being given are food, cleaning supplies, baby supplies, and back-to-school items. All items available are brand new.
Donation items that the center says they need the most are, bedding, linens, towels, sheets, pillows, school supplies and shampoo and conditioner for those in need. They ask that all donations are brand new.
The center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, and they are not accepting any clothing donations.
The easiest way to access the resource center is by using the Northtown Mall parking garage ramp through Wellesley Avenue.
