KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — A missing Pinehurst man was found dead near Baldy Creek on Wednesday evening.
According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, 84-year-old Russel D. Lebourdais was reported missing by Pinehurst Police on Tuesday.
Deputies were called out to the Latour Creek area at around 8 p.m. on Wednesday after his vehicle was found on a road in the area.
Search and rescue units were called out and began looking for Lebourdais Thursday morning.
During the search, the sheriff’s office says his body was found on an old overgrown roadway.
The Sheriff’s Office says there is no evidence of foul play, and Lenourdais’ next of kin has been notified.
