BOUNDARY COUNTY, Idaho — Level 3 (GO NOW!) evacuations have been issued for the Upper Smith Creek Fire in Boundary County.
Residents in the Westside Zone and Smith Creek Zone must evacuate immediately as the Upper Smith Creek Fire has reached a critical point, according to the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office.
“If you are in either of these zones, evacuate immediately,” Sheriff Travis Stolley said. “Law enforcement and fire personnel will be in the area to assist and notify.”
Law enforcement will man a roadblock at Big Bend Road and Kerr Lake Road.
The Boundary County Fairgrounds is available as a rally point for evacuees.
Sheriff Stolley remains in communication with the Incident Management Team and will provide updates as conditions change.
