SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Velocity beat Athletic Club Boise, 2-1, in USL Group Stage play, the first win over the new rivals in club history.
Camron Miller opened the scoring in the 71st minute, then Andre Lewis added quickly after in the 74th. Sean Lewis surrendered an own goal in the 76th minute, but no one could find the net after.
Spokane lifts its USL Cup point total to six following a home win over Las Vegas and a road loss to Sacramento.
The Velocity next play at AV Alta in USL League One play next Saturday, June 13, at 8:00 p.m.
