RALEIGH, N.C. – The Carolina Hurricanes answered one thrilling comeback with another as they take down the Vegas Golden Knights, 5-4, in overtime of Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Seth Jarvis scored the OT winner under five minutes into the period, his first career overtime game-winner.
The Carolina win is the first multiple-goal comeback with less than 10 minutes left in a Stanley Cup Final game since 1944. Both Stanley Cup Final Games 1 and 2 needing multi-goal comebacks is an NHL first.
The series resumes as the teams travel to Las Vegas for Game 3, puck drop set for Saturday, June 6 at 5:00 p.m.
