TORONTO, Ont. – Gonzaga women’s basketball legend and all-time leading scorer Yvonne Ejim gets her second shot at the WNBA.
The Calgary native signed a training camp contract with the WNBA expansion team, the Toronto Tempo, the league’s first-ever Canadian team.
The training camp contract means Ejim is one of 16 players signed, but not yet a part of the final 12 to make the regular-season roster.
Ejim was the 33rd overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever, but was later waived before the start of the season.
